1.20m I personally find too narrow for a new build. You can also subtract another 2 or 3 cm for the plaster.

Another question was regarding the bed niche for one child at the expense of the other child.

What I also notice:
The load-bearing walls do not align. That can work, but it often becomes more expensive.

Sorry, apparently I really didn't answer the question, grrrr I'm a bit stressed, still have to take care of a little 6-week-old baby. The niche in the children's room was a little compromise with my older son. He has to give up a lot because of the house project. So that should stay that way. The wall between the children's rooms is thicker because we are building with Ytong and in my opinion it absorbs more sound.
