There should be no price difference, right?

With the dark ones, the thermal load on the frame is higher - it simply absorbs more IR radiation. In this respect, I would assume a faster aging of the plastic.

Why? Depends on the supplier - there are also some who charge an extra fee for the colored or color foil-coated frame.

For what reason should the standard windows have the same price as the foiled windows? It is an "add-on," therefore an "upgrade" of the window design, thus additional costs!

My general contractor had calculated an additional charge of €2250 for 13 windows only foiled on the outside in anthracite. Before signing.

We have also dealt with this topic. Originally, we wanted anthracite-colored windows (outside). However, meanwhile, we are back to the white ones. 1. Because of the extra cost and 2. because of the facade design. Since we want to colorfully set apart a part of our house, we decided on the white (cheaper) windows because it simply makes you more flexible.

So this is the current state of affairs. We are at the architectural planning stage. It is possible that we will reconsider, but I think it will be the white ones. With presumably 23 windows plus skylight plus front door plus garage door, it makes a big difference in price. We might rather invest the money in something else.
