Hello dear forum!
We plan to replaster our gable side because the previous owner applied stripes to it (timber frame look). The current condition is a 36 Poroton wall with subsequent gable insulation (west side) made of 4cm Styrofoam, fabric, mineral plaster, and Weber silicone resin paint 411 top. An acquaintance believes that I should glue new fabric because the new plaster will not adhere to the silicone resin paint. I would only plaster and repaint the facade. Can someone tell me whether I should now glue fabric or if plaster alone is sufficient?
Thank you very much in advance
