Hi everyone, we had a "box" cut into the masonry in the living room, where we attached a folding construction that holds the projector. Pretty cool overall.
The problem is that the screws for the hinge ended up exactly between the masonry and the plaster on the "bottom" of the box and caused the plaster to flake off, so it broke out.
Now I want to replaster it. Plaster is missing on about 10cm width and up to 15mm thickness.
I still have some Hagalith FF bonding plaster left – a mason used it back then. I would rather not have him come again just for this tiny gap.
I’m thinking to clean it thoroughly first, then apply bonding primer? Afterwards in several layers, for example first 1cm, let dry, then 5mm, then finishing plaster? All layers with the Hagalith?
I would be extremely grateful for tips :)
