I would like to have your opinion on the optimal arrangement of our construction project. I will upload 2 variants in the attachment between which I am undecided.

Plot approximately 33x21 meters
House 8x11
Double garage 6x8
Building area (blue) 18x12 whereby 3 meters behind the property line MUST be built.

Variant 1:
- would have a narrow passage of about 1 meter between the garage and the house
- nice wide driveway, but also quite short (9 meters)
- behind the garage there would be a space 4 meters long that I would not know how to use optimally.
- about 1.5 meters less garden area on the left.

Variant 2:
- over 2 meters wide passage between the garage and the house
- about 1.5 meters more garden area on the left
- driveway would be narrower but longer (parking 2 cars side by side would be difficult)
- more "privacy" when cleaning/working on the car in the garage as there is more distance to the street
- no "dirty corner" behind the garage due to flush boundary construction on 2 sides

What would you prefer? I am open to tips and advice.

How many meters are still behind the garage in Variante 1? You basically always need space for a trash bin, possibly firewood, a garden shed, children's vehicles, etc. Maybe you can push the garage a bit further back in Variante 1.

Or you mix Variante 1 and 2. House like in Variante 1, garage like in Variante 2. Your property is definitely big enough for that.

Garage outside the building zone?
Is that allowed?

Behind the garage there would still be over 4 meters of space .... Outside the building window is allowed, yes. It would be a completely normal boundary construction up to 9m and 50sqm according to [sächsischen]. [Baurecht].

I would tend to go for option 2. Otherwise, the passage between the house and the garage becomes quite narrow. I would position the house in such a way that you can easily drive through with the car and still have space for the doormat or minimal planting on the wall, while also avoiding scraping the garage wall with the car.

Having the garage only partially "jut out" is a matter of permissibility; in the state building regulations, it is often "boundary, or full clearance area." This would have the advantage that behind the garage there could still be a deliberate dirty corner for compost, potting soil, etc., as well as a rear access to the garage. However, then you have the problem of the passage to the garden.

I would tend towards option 1 .. snow removal is also an argument. And behind the garage would be a wonderful compost heap spot.
