so we also managed to store everything well on 9.2 m². Even on the left, not visible in the picture, there is a 2.20 meter high and one meter wide cabinet. Next to it is the photovoltaic home power system. In front of the meter cabinet at the back right, hidden, the water softening system is parked. There is even space left for the drying rack. So with smart planning you can fit quite a bit in.

But remember to ask your utilities in time how much freedom you have with your multi-utility introduction - there are some who say: "As long as it's there," but also those who say "at right angles and on the shortest route from the local network to the building or nothing." And even if the utilities have no special wishes, you should still ask yourself whether you want to have the cables under your floor slab longer than strictly necessary.

I believe there is some confusion here between "wishing and having to." It is not the technicians who wish for the corresponding distances, but the normative requirements that prescribe them. The architect and the contractors simply have to comply with these, otherwise there will be problems. For example, the working area in front of the heater is prescribed... in front of the house connection box definitely as well, etc. Safety-relevant aspects must also be taken into account, so that a technician has enough free space in front of the house connection box if, for example, they get an electric shock....

So it is not about the distances between the washing machines next to each other, but those of the fixed installations... mostly only "in front of" and not beside them. Therefore, the planning fits with the Ypsi or Borxx, as sufficient space is available in front of the respective devices.

By the way, a recommendation: plan the house connection box and fuse box as close to each other as possible :)

What should also be considered is that the electrical installation can be small or huge, depending on the scope. For us, electrical cabinets alone (distribution, KNX, heating, photovoltaics, etc.) plus a 19-inch cabinet already occupy a complete 2.50m wall.
