Hello,

I made a plan for the outdoor facilities for the landscape gardener using the software "Cadvilla". Now I would be interested in your assessment or I would like to ask you for tips here in the forum. It is deliberately without shrubs, etc., as we want to do those ourselves. It only shows what is green and what is not green (= paved). The corner of the house pointing all the way down is south.

Is the plot of land flat?

Is there a site coverage ratio? Is it being complied with?

The sealing seems too high in relation to the property. Too little green, too much stone...

There is a lot missing. What are your wishes? What about the neighboring buildings? The floor area ratio has already been mentioned.

A few comments from my side:
- why is the terrace around the corner? I would completely omit the part on the right side of the plan; you probably won't want to sit right on the boundary anyway. Instead, enlarge the part on the left side of the plan
- why is there a 3m-wide path passing the house at the top of the plan, only to reduce to 1m? About 1m is enough for the bike shed, you can also easily get through with a bike trailer. You also don’t need 3m to the front door
- overall, a paved path was simply drawn everywhere where one might ever walk. But there are other options, such as stepping stones, gravel paths, gravel lawn for bad-weather paths. For paths used only in good weather, wood chips, bark mulch, or simply grass are also suitable, especially if you just don’t have to get through with heavy equipment
- how many cars do you have? The one spot at the bottom is as far away from the front door as possible
- play equipment for the children?
- you should also include planned plantings in the drawing. Categories such as "hedge tall" or "fruit tree half-standard" are enough. Plantings need space and cast shadows. That should be planned for

Yes, more or less. Or rather a height difference of 20 cm between the sidewalk and the other side of the plot. I still have to find out, thank you very much for the tip!

Garden planning works well with colored pencils. Green scribbles for bushes, dark green for tree crowns. Brown for flower beds, red for paving. Gray for splash protection, which is completely missing here. With paving near the house, the base can be damaged. I think that with this sketch, the garden landscapers are more likely to get teary-eyed because it is very exhausting to look at. Personally, there is also too much sealing for me, whether it is allowed or not. The trash, for example, is well stored between the entrance and the bike shed or inside it. And you are allowed to walk on a lawn; for that, some paths are not even necessary.
