Plan a terrace roof in the floor plan?

So we have been going back and forth and have come to the conclusion that the roof will be designed as posted above and the doors will remain at 2.70cm each.
What ultimately goes on the roof is still unclear.
Maybe we will install an old roof window (already seen ) or use translucent solar cells or the closed roof after all. We will decide that when the house is built and we start on the outdoor facilities. Then you can imagine it better or test it directly.

We actually have enough walls and corners to design according to our feelings, especially once the children are out of the house. It’s just a matter of taste.

Yay. Just a quick update on our construction project:

On Thursday we will get our red dot
The building application has been approved!!
(After only 4 weeks since the application was submitted - mind you without a development plan but according to Paragraph 34 of the Building Code.)
We are thrilled

Now it's time for the detailed planning and the tenders and hopefully the first excavator will roll in soon

I actually think that we will find a shady spot under it in the afternoon as well, and for very hot days we still have the lower north garden.
