Plan a new building that looks like "Schinkel" or "Persius"

Your wish is old news, we already had that here in October 2018: and otherwise you look at Vogel Architects in Berlin or at Stoeter villas.

You see it every now and then, but the look is a very fine line between intentional and successful. Great when done well, but in new housing developments usually as out of place as Tuscany style in northern Germany.

No idea. However, there are various new buildings or architects who will build that for you if you tell them what you want.

Yes, that would be a historicizing example. Exactly that is what I did not want, but rather somehow "authentic."

Since the names "Ringlstetter" and "Vogel" have already come up here: Ringlstetter is an extremely interesting source because he deals with a lot of fundamentals in his books and puts a lot of thought into things that anyone who wants to build a cabin should consider. And he actually built a house somewhere between Berlin and Potsdam that clearly goes in my direction; he also has it on his homepage and in one of his books. He also seems to be a very honest person because he even openly writes about why he started his own construction company at some point and just as openly explains why he closed it again a few years later.

And as for Vogel: They renovated a neoclassical villa on Gregor-Mendel-Straße in Potsdam with a lot of love for detail. For me, this house is absolutely amazing. So if you are still looking for goals in life: That would be one. However, to be fair, it must be mentioned that the micro location (extremely dense neighboring buildings) is an absolute catastrophe.

Wow, I'm reading along here too.

We also imagine an authentic house, but on the one hand less grand and yet actually "just" historicizing, because Jura houses are a bit too dark for us ;)
If anything violates "some kind of ethos," it's the always same white-anthracite-colored blocks, preferably surrounded by gabions and cold white lit at Christmas *shudder* (Don't take it seriously, everyone should build however they like ;) )

Ringlstetter lived for a long time in my hometown, so there are also some Ringlstetter houses there. The builders are all enthusiastic about the house itself and the organization. If you want to build with him, you definitely have to hurry up

I don’t know anyone who has built like that themselves, but I know that the company Villa Belavista from Radebeul builds according to historical models. And I am also enthusiastic about the houses! We had contacted them back then (about 6 years ago), but unfortunately they only build in the Dresden outskirts.
