Placement of garden house / tool shed

I would build with a distance to the border and consider the border installation separately. I like the idea of being able to invisibly store certain things between the garden shed and the fence, e.g. wood or leftover paving stones, etc. Also, in the case of a dismantling, a gap in the fence would not immediately occur.

I would make it dependent on what kind of person you are. First of all, I am against "going around," because for many (not all) garden owners, it leads to them storing "weird stuff" behind the garden shed where supposedly no one can see it. If the garden shed is pretty, I would build it away from the boundary and plant and beautify the "surroundings" just like the rest of the garden.

I also think that in the end the space around it is used for "junk".

Somewhere wheelbarrow, piggy bank and garden soil have to be placed. A bit of "wall protection" is very helpful there.

So far, I’m still really hoping that I can hide all of it in the garden shed. ;-)
