Placement of garden house / tool shed

Who pushes a full wheelbarrow to the equipment house at 7 p.m. if they want to continue the next day? That's wasted effort

Me neither. When it’s full, I empty it. Even at 7 p.m. And if really not, I don’t push it behind the little house anymore, then it just stays where I want to continue. I would base the distance question on the size of the property. A parking space for leftover stones, etc. is great. If you can use the space for it and the property allows it, I would build with a distance. If it’s just a 400 sqm towel-shaped plot, I would build directly on the border to increase the usable space.
