maybe it helps someone. Since our EW (Elektra Baselland) is currently promoting photovoltaic systems with direct payments (systems up to 5KW), we have thoroughly researched the prices. Offers from the region cost about 4700 to 5200 CHF per KW (+ electrician for registration + installation of the inverter) + scaffolding. That means purely for the system solar modules, installation material, and inverter about 19000 to 22000 CHF. We have now imported the complete system from Germany for 7800.00 CHF. Plus VAT and customs 10%. We picked up the system ourselves near the border with a VWLT 35, absolutely no problem. Key data: installation on a tiled roof. Monocrystalline modules with 205W, 25 years performance guarantee, certified against high wind and snow load. Also included surge protection and feed-in evaluation device. (Could also be left out) With the funding from EBL, our system is amortized very quickly. Our tip: about 30% savings are possible compared to Swiss prices, you just have to fight through X offers. Have fun :-)

The motto "Being stingy is cool" is not always worthwhile. For photovoltaic components, there are also acceptable prices in Switzerland. But yes, Swiss wages may be somewhat higher than abroad, but after all, one also enjoys Swiss quality of life...

This has nothing to do with being stingy is cool. I do not see why I should pay 50% more for the same module which a wholesaler sells at the same price in Germany and Switzerland. Furthermore, the labor costs of a German craftsman working in Switzerland are effectively higher than those of a Swiss craftsman. Why? Because the law requires foreign companies to pay minimum wages, in addition there are social security contributions in their home country and a deposit of 20,000 euros and a few other details. So what justifies a KW price installed at over 5300 CHF compared to 2800 CHF? I am also willing to pay a company in the region a bit more but please within a reasonable range and not because the demand in this region is rising sharply due to subsidies, making it double.

Hello,

Thank you for the information and I am also considering buying such a system in Germany. This has nothing to do with stinginess, but it is about a considerable amount of money. I can then use it elsewhere and products from Switzerland are also an option.

That is already a considerable price difference between the Swiss and German modules. We will also take a look at that because it pays off much faster.

Thank you very much for your help.

Maybe it is cheaper in Germany than with us. But I still used a renal provider. That was a bit more expensive, but in return I have the service right at my door. I do benefit from my own salary here with us.
