Photovoltaic system: How many kWp are enough for a house?

Here is my system from today. 24.48 kWp East/West. Best day of the year so far.

Unfortunately, the solar installer has not yet managed to include my consumption on the data logger.

I just had 59.4 kWh with 8.68 kWp. Self-consumption 43% and 100% autonomy. You have a nice system there .

I would have gone significantly higher if I hadn't had to sensibly do without a few modules because of the two chimneys.

I don't reach 100% self-sufficiency. It has been connected to the grid since mid-March. But I think so far we are at about 70% self-sufficiency rate. That's the nice thing about the large east/west system. The self-sufficiency rate is really good even without storage.

If there were a trailer hitch for my favored electric car, I would probably have gotten it soon as well. The subsidies are very tempting. The car would technically be really good for me. But unfortunately not doable without a trailer hitch. That annoys me a lot.... But nothing can be done.

What did you do with 0.43*59.4 kwh? I don't consume that much in 3 days.. Electric car?

: I would have liked to do that too, but I didn’t see a point in covering a pure north side, especially with the satellite dish on it, given the efficiency and the same price per module.

I need it too, but unfortunately also a towing capacity of at least 1800kg (horses....). :/
