.....Division may be good or less so on its own - I imagine the volume of the building as, well, let's say "moderately elegantly achieved".[ /QUOTE]

I would really be very interested to know which house shape on a slope along with floor plan you would describe as SUCCESSFUL for a family of four. Could you post something here or with the house pictures?

I wouldn’t call our building plot a slope. It’s maybe 0.5 to 1 meter across the width of the house and garage.

Ah, now yes. I had imagined it a bit differently – namely that the two floors would stand somewhat diagonally frayed on top of each other. The Tuscany spice mix masks that well.

What is that supposed to represent, or how is it supposed to work? The crossbar can’t be a bar if it’s at countertop height, and vice versa.

I also don’t understand what such bars are good for: at a shared breakfast, I like to sit facing my counterpart, that’s why it’s called that. I believe these things stem from the delusion that with some kind of middle ground between seating and standing, one could still somehow catch children who got up late on their low-flying way to the school bus for half a roll. However, I consider this wish(dream) to be the father of that thought. What remains is a superfluous dining spot whose space would have brought more joy elsewhere.

There are already several examples in the house pictures. From , , , , and several others. I prefer clear shapes and appreciate architects who have not forgotten the art of congruent outlines of ground and upper floor plans, just because it is currently fashionable to leave corners sticking out somewhere.

I don't find it that great now.

The breakfast bar divides the kitchen into two small parts, the bar itself is very narrow. The double door to the outside is again obstructed by the chairs.
The most important no-go: the fridge in the corner!
On one hand cramped, on the other hand not part of the ergonomic cooking process -> work triangle: cleaning, preparing, storing

Ok, on the one hand I wanted to include the kitchen right away, because it is possible that we should enlarge it by a meter to make it fit well, on the other hand I think we should leave it out for now and first work on the rest. The kitchen will fit later anyway.

In any case, I find the entrance area of the Gu plan nicer, although it is quite large.
I find the upper floor nicer in our plan ([Beitrag#7]).
