... but no island fan wants to believe that.

For the island fan, the island is usually not a trend, but a building block of a life philosophy in which the preparation of delicious food is the focus of living.

And who thinks of us microwave fans? Shamefully neglected by the kitchen industry. When will the combo TV Playstation microwave pizza oven Lieferando app finally come?

We are getting off topic – the island discussion is already abundant. Sorry about that. I just believe that in the exact kitchen layout, an island would definitely be in the way.

Regarding the overall floor plan, I also find the entrance door with the staircase position unfavorable and then the extra corners in the children's room and bedroom upstairs. Although the latter is actually okay, but only if it remains this spacious. If the house is pushed together, the niches could become too small.

Theoretically, subjunctive - apparently none is planned so far, and it should be left that way.

I think one should also consider elevations instead of only discussing the floor plans. Their layout may be good or less so on its own - as for the building’s massing, I imagine it to be, well, let’s say "moderately elegantly executed."

Actually, we thought the kitchen was very large and an island would look good because you would have a view into the living room while cooking, but a few days ago I played around with a kitchen planner and realized that it would get quite tight. I tried a bit around. Regarding the niches: After I reduced the upper floor (see post #7), the niches no longer exist. As I said, this is all our amateur planning so far. Today I received a draft from a general contractor. It is very similar to ours. However, we now have 15 m² more. In my opinion, this is not necessary because most of it is included in the ballroom of the hallway and a chamber, as well as the corridor on the upper floor.
