Especially then, without a proper cooling ceiling or simply a common air conditioning system, a modern energy saving ordinance house is nicely warm upstairs in the summer. Cooling via the underfloor heating is more of a marketing trick.

Well, 6 kW cooling capacity of passive cooling is not nothing. Thermal insulation is more important, though. Exterior shading helps enormously.

I build solidly and plan the house with the architect... how big, which shape, where which floor-to-ceiling windows, open gable or not, ceiling height... all individually tailored to the person.

The price in the end is not much higher than a house from the catalog where I can only still change the floor plan.
