Approximately 10 sqm (5 per floor) more living space because the bay window extends over the rectangular base shape of the house. In that sense, yes, a dormer, but actually more of a tower.

When it comes to chopping, it's not just the panicles, it's everything that comes up in the kitchen from the salad leaves to the banana peel to the corn cob.

I am currently lacking a bit of the visual imagination. Part of this conglomerate is moist waste, which in my opinion already becomes "sufficiently" odor-active even without increasing the surface area. That means shredding leads to having to dispose of it in even shorter intervals and additionally cleaning the shredder. What does it bring on the other hand, does it save that much volume in the bin?

well, if you illuminate your own facade, you yourself can’t see anything outside anymore. Whether from below or above then doesn’t matter either. Why do people do that? Should all the neighbors be pointed to the fancy home or is there a deeper meaning?

That looks like a light curtain. Therefore, no real impairments are to be expected when looking out.

Whether there is a deeper meaning, someone who installed something like that will have to come and explain.

As for the appearance or the view, I don't find anything bad about it.

All evening walkers should see that the homeowner regards his place on par with famous cathedrals

At the Edeka near me right by the *ahem* local motorway I just saw something similar: the attic glows gently purple all around the hall. If you need that ...
