It was done similarly for us, but we only had the base layer and the edge edging done; we did the fine grading with gravel and the paving of 130m² ourselves. A friend who has paved several times helped. It was quite easy. Above all, using gravel is really a great thing. Two weeks ago, I completely paved the area (1.5m x 3.5m) for our carport extension shed myself, including curbstones and base layer. For this area, it also works well without large machines.

I think your driveway is also very nice !

And for snow removal, you can also use a brush roller like the ones mounted on clearing vehicles. I think it's called a sweepers...

These concrete pavers look more precise, but we definitely didn’t want that. I prefer my old lumps.

It doesn’t come across in the pictures, but we’re not that worried about snow. 50% of the area is covered. So it would only be the front half. Don’t think we’ll have to clear much there. We’ll just drive over it.

Sweeper light: Take an old lawn mower with side discharge, two cable ties or four, the thick ones, two scrubbing brushes. Attach them to the mower blades. With cable ties. Done. This thing is fun and not everyone has one. Katja, with this you'll be the star in West Saxony and even get on the evening news. K.
