I see it the same way. We even have three fixed parking spaces and two unofficial ones, a green area that can be driven on in case more guests come or for larger deliveries. Besides, I always find it great when the streets are fully parked because the residents have deliberately created too few parking spaces. The same goes for the public parking strips, which are usually intended for visitors but are used for 2nd, 3rd, or 4th vehicles or often trailers or caravans of the residents. Regarding enforcement, you can be lucky or not. Here, for example, the responsible employee changed, and the new one checked the driveway widths of the properties, urged neighbors to remove weeds growing toward the street during their vacation within a deadline, and more such things that never interested the predecessor.Parking spaces on private property should not be undervalued.
