Exactly.
I advertised a 100m² apartment for move-out renovation there, similar conditions, everything was white and in reasonably good condition.
I received over 50 offers within a weekend, in the end a German interior decorator did it for €450 including materials and invoice. He wasn't even the cheapest.
Thanks to the specified labor costs, I can even deduct it from taxes now. He worked properly, not quite painter-master level, but he covered everything cleanly.
That sounds good! For just under €450 including materials and invoice, I would very gladly save myself the time, nerves, and stress. We have now given notice on our apartment and want to wait first to see if the possibility arises that we can come to an agreement with a new tenant regarding painting. If we ask what financial compensation they want for renovating there themselves, and no huge sums are mentioned, that would also be a good option for us.
Regarding these spray guns again: we were at the hardware store yesterday and had a spray gun suitable for indoor use shown to us, costing just under €250. I think that could even be fun and probably faster than with roller and brush, but if we first have to spend €250 on that and maybe find someone to paint for €400, it’s probably not a good investment in terms of cost-benefit...
