Hello Kinderpingui. Unfortunately, this was some time ago, but here are the brief answers to your questions:
[*]Before painting, only Schwenk Quarzgrund was sprayed on with a normal gloria spray pump. [*]The base plaster was simply "rubbed down" by the plasterers at the end after application, so that we have a very slight grain. We didn’t want it smooth. Because of this, you can’t see any "problem areas" as they do not stand out there.

Ok. Thanks for the answer.
Was your base plaster applied so smoothly that there were no voids or bulging areas at all? How did you fill the voids?

The base plaster, as far as I can remember, was at the same time the final product. It was only troweled off at the end after a certain drying time with a trowel and some water. Just google "Kalkzementputz filzen" and you'll see something like that.

I don't know what "Lunker" are supposed to be, but if you mean dents or holes by that - we haven't seen any so far. Also no bulging spots - at least not under normal lighting conditions.

That's the advantage of this troweling, that you see irregularities less than with completely smooth wall surfaces.

We recently replastered the first room ourselves, using [Kalkzementputz]. After it set, we thoroughly troweled it, then roughly skim-coated it, primed, and finally wallpapered it. Our daughter wanted a feature wallpaper anyway and the rest yellow, so we put up the feature wallpaper and the other walls received fine woodchip wallpaper before the paint coat (plain emulsion paint). We didn’t do any extensive skim-coating, as it was actually quite good already because of the troweling. We are satisfied with the result and will do the same in the next room.

Thank you very much. With what exactly did you "roughly skim-coat"? With a special filler for lime-cement plaster or simply with the base plaster?

I have to check again, in any case, it was a standard wall and ceiling filler from Sakret.
