Hello

I am looking for a system with which I can monitor the outdoor/indoor area by camera. The system should work without cables. I have found devices that use batteries for the cameras and work with WiFi. I don’t have WiFi and don’t want it either. I only have a mobile phone with an internet flat rate. So the cameras should operate on batteries and send their signal to a main station. Do you have something like that or would you know such a product?
Thanks for any tips!

A radio connection between camera and station is very, very similar to a Wi-Fi...

...You can configure an "invisible" Wi-Fi without internet access. Wi-Fi and the internet are two different things and also operate independently of each other.

But you will need VERY LARGE batteries if the system is to operate for more than 24 hours...

It will not work without extra power... especially a transmission unit for good images is very power-hungry...

For GoPro cameras, average battery runtimes can be found online (on the order of 2 to 3 hours). For surveillance, a wireless system seems unsuitable to me. At least power should therefore be supplied via cable. And then I would also lay network cables in parallel.

Or a network cable connected to a POE switch, then you only need a POE-capable camera
