What is the reason for the expansion joints (are you building a solid prefab house?) and what appearance will the "claddings" of the side views of the gable roof offer?
No, wood studs are being clad with brick slips. In this case, aren't expansion joints installed? The "cladding of the side walls" will still need to be "sampled". Probably clad with metal sheets? Which in turn would suggest brushed aluminum window sills.....? :)
No, wood studs will be clad with facing bricks. In this case, don’t you make expansion joints?
Oh, wood frame panels. Yes, expansion joints make sense there too.
The "cladding of the side walls" will still have to be "sampled". Probably clad with sheet metal? Which would again suggest brushed aluminum window sills.....?
In the drawing it looks recessed. I would probably use zinc sheet here. And the window sills in aluminum, but coated (matched to the windows in tone, but don’t take the "same" - keep in mind, RAL is not Pantone).
Thank you! In terms of color combination, brushed aluminum benches will probably create the best/most uniform look. Especially in combination with the zinc sheet of the side walls and the light gray wooden windows. Both cost-wise and in terms of durability/resistance, brushed aluminum will likely be the better choice. Why do you recommend "beschichtete"?
I have just checked that the window sills are offered as standard in "eloxiertem Aluminium". We will then coordinate the color during the sample selection.
