Order windows in the online shop?

we are currently looking for windows. We have someone who will install the windows for us, so now I am looking for an affordable source, does anyone here have experience with window online shops? The range is very large and confusing, and the reliability is often difficult to assess. Ideally, for example, I would prefer a direct sales from a Polish manufacturer, can anyone give a recommendation for one or the other?

That hardly matters. Much more important is that someone tells you exactly what needs to be ordered (especially size) and that the installation is done correctly.

Otherwise, every manufacturer is just using water to cook. No advance payment or alternatively with insured order (trusted shop with insurance). Just pick a cheap offer that meets all your specifications.

The same person who installs the windows does the measurements, or rather, it’s two friend window installers. Unfortunately, through their employer, they can only offer me aluminum windows, which of course exceeds the budget.

I would always at least check the measurements. For us, the window specialist companies did that with the result "oh, it actually doesn't fit." For one window, it was massively wrong, so we accepted the window at a discount out of goodwill and ripped out a suitable window opening somewhere. For the others, some patchwork was done. They were only 5-6 cm too small. Actually, I wanted to order via Fensterversand too. They were so nicely cheap. In the end, it was two local companies, about 1000 euros per window including installation. Window handles and small parts were also forgotten. On the south side, we had no handles for years. The cover caps were the wrong color... Oh yes, the good craftsman on site is priceless (in the truest sense). But self-installation was not possible, how should I lift that. And there was no one available who could do the installation either. So only a specialist company remained. But I ordered the front door "on the internet," it was a nerve-wracking experience since the company went bankrupt during the order process, but everything turned out fine.

In the last house three years ago, I also calculated the windows online once. Without things like screws, seals inside and outside, and such, the difference to the local window manufacturer and fitter was only about 15% below their price including small materials and installation. The only effort for me was a very detailed consultation and construction execution discussion. The risk of planning, error in assembly and installation was zero.
