The recessed terrace and the dwarf gable are intended by us. The rest happened that way. Do you think the many corners are bad? Or does the house then look too cluttered from the outside?

Do you have opinions?

I am more a fan of clear lines, besides it is usually cheaper then.

Not necessarily. In summer, the sun is high in the south, in winter it is lower. In summer, we hardly had anything from our west window (light yes, but no nice sunlight), but since September it has been our main light source in the living area. In the kitchen, the window is also completely covered... I would run through this because of the bay window/walls/protrusions/roofing (if you haven't done so already) and possibly move the garage forward to at least create a band of light in the living area there. East sun is also a bit lacking...

Regards Yvonne

I don't have any views yet, that was just a draft. But my architect will now properly draw the plan with views for me. As soon as I have it, I will put it online. Thanks in advance for your responses.

A room like that wouldn't be bad at all. But where do you still want to build a wall, or put up a partition?

If you go from the hallway through the door into the kitchen, then to the right a wall. I can't fit the room anywhere else in this floor plan.
