These are just normal concrete ones with a cover. They might cost the civil engineer 400€, and he just adds a "little" extra on top... The biggest problem at the moment, I think, is that all companies involved in construction have such full order books that they can charge whatever they want. If you don't accept an offer, they don't care either, they still have 100 other orders in the pipeline...

But what do you need one made of concrete for, a kg shaft is completely sufficient for inspection purposes.

You are, of course, right.

Here it was done simply and also cost-effectively. For that, a slotted pipe was laid in the garden. When the tank is sufficiently full, a pump (about €40) ensures that excess water is pumped into this pipe and then soaks away in the garden. As you can see in the picture, the pipe can be laid quite invisibly in the garden with appropriate planting.

PS I was denied uploading the picture. Why, no idea.

For me, with the same setup including inspection shaft and cistern, it is 6t. approximately €17,000 including VAT. Building in the Stuttgart area.

I once checked the soil report; infiltration is supposedly not possible on our property because rock appears at 3m and the water can then accumulate. However, the development plan states that the water is either to infiltrate or be connected to the stormwater sewer. That somehow contradicts itself...

Why? Infiltration is preferred based on the usual argumentation, but Plan B via the sewer is also possible.
