Thanks for the hint. To be honest, I haven't dealt with it or have so far only followed the advice and read about cavity walls or ETICS based on that. In any case, I will educate myself to see if it is also possible to build energy-efficiently or according to KfW 40 Plus with this construction method.

Have you compared the construction service descriptions of the two? Which costs are included in the price, which are not. How do the electrical equipment, tiles, flooring, etc. differ.

I have compared the construction service descriptions of both general contractors in Excel and noted down the main points and items briefly, so you can already see quite clearly where the differences lie. The prices given so far are only estimates from the two general contractors. Attached is the overview; maybe you have some remarks on it. For me, both are "almost" equal.

I wasn't keen on polystyrene either, so we consciously chose mineral wool. Both have that in their offer. Do you know if it's possible to achieve KfW 40+ with the monolithic construction method?

KfW 40 like KfW 40+ is monolithic absolutely not a problem. However, you will most likely have to abandon achieving this with a 36.5 cm block. Since you initially speak of 3 residential units, the little "loss" of floor space due to the 42.5 cm block should therefore not be a problem.

and search for "u-values of monolithic Ytong wall constructions" on Google.

A table appears with a legend underneath showing colors for the recommendation of the energy efficiency class of the houses.
Seems doable with a special Ytong stone 42.5 cm thickness.
