Yeah, that's more of a night light than lighting. In the bathroom at least 3x3 rows, possibly also 3x4. Use bulbs from 450 lumens upwards, you want a lot of light in the bathroom. I would also distribute about 8 spots in the hallway, they can be a bit less bright, but a lot of light doesn't hurt there either.

They look quite randomly placed to me in the hallway. I would make an isosceles L shape out of it with 5 spots in a straight line. Maybe the last spot in the hallway is then the extension to the bathroom?!

Yvonne, yes the asymmetry was a suggestion from the electrician. Because exactly/quite in the middle of the hallway there is a metal profile for the plasterboard. So one spot would be more to the left and the other more to the right of the profile, than both in a line but not centered.

You mean the spot at the height of the bathroom door? so that the row of spots in the bathroom is continued in one alignment....

I have now thought about 4 spots in a straight line, i.e. 2 on the left and 2 on the right of the metal profile.

I will be on site anyway and will try to capture that in a picture.

I was just about to be brilliant when I saw the [Bodeneinschubtreppe]. I would do without spotlights. If they can’t even be placed centrally and evenly in such a hallway, it looks terrible.

here is the situation on site:

1. View from the direction of the bathroom
2. Opposite view from picture 1
3. View upwards, in the bottom left of the picture in front of the bathroom and where the other two loops are, the staggered ones then
