and I thought Hamburg/surrounding area was expensive with 250-400 euros per m2 (more like outskirts/surrounding area)....... 400k just for the plot is also above the total budget for us :(

General salaries in prime locations can’t be high enough to afford such prices – either there is still sponsorship involved, or one is a football pro or something similar.

200-400 TEUR for a plot of land and then another 300-400k for a corresponding house...that is just obscene.

A normal person can never afford to realize the dream of homeownership there :eek:

We wanted to build in a certain city, but there was simply nothing – and none was foreseeable. Plus at least 200 Euro/m², even though it’s not a sought-after location or anything...

Now it has become a rural suburb of the city, where there is hardly any infrastructure, but at least an elementary school/kindergarten, plenty of peace/nature, and affordable land. The only thing the bank found problematic was the loan-to-value ratio :confused::);)

Yes, that's just how it is... in the green forum there was also someone who wanted to buy a terraced house with hardly any land and relatively little living space for about 800,000 just because of the neighborhood... here in Berlin
