Where does the figure of €1,100 come from? That should be confidential, right? Are these rumors or was the price really €1,100 / m²? Seems way too high for a suburb to me ;)

So here in a suburb of Munich, we are currently charging about 400 euros per square meter

But double the standard land value seems suspicious to me – especially since the sale is from the municipality. Maybe it was exactly THE parcel that someone secured. At least the sales are not reflected in the standard land value, which actually should be the case.

The €1,100 was offered to us by the city of Fellbach if we still want a plot of land. Unfortunately, Fellbach is extremely in demand. It was a development area on the outskirts with vineyards and a beautiful view :) Across the street at the other end of town, it was almost cheap: For €850 per m2 we could have gotten a building plot in the development area of "Sami Khedira." He bought 3 building plots ;-). The next idea was Waiblingen in a new development area, but here too nothing under €700 was possible. Meanwhile, apartments are being sold here for €4,600 per m2. Now we are about 25 kilometers out with S-Bahn connection and have to pay "just" €320 per m2 ;-)
