New bathroom - no sealing present?

quick question regarding waterproofing in the wet area of the new bathroom:


There is no waterproofing in the shower area (the floor drain is visible at the top), right? It looks to me like tiles laid directly on a stripped wall with a lot of adhesive. On the floor, just on top of the old tiles. What do you think?

provided there is no waterproofing under the old tiles, it is missing.
At the wall connections, it is not present.

How old is the house? Presumably, it was not built at that time either.

If I were you, I would first straighten the old walls so that the waterproofing fits well. Take a look on the [Bostik] website, I think you can see how it should look there.

That's what I feared. The job was: remove old floor/wall tiles, then seal, then new tiles. Unfortunately, I only see the new tiles....
In the photo above, the new tiles are already visible, which apparently were simply placed on the stripped wall without anything else.
