Thank you very much for your many tips. I still need to discuss the repair of the garage wall with the neighbor anyway. Here I will simply talk to him again about the survey results. I will probably leave it at that. I do not want a pension or anything like that, whether symbolic or not. I consider an entry in the land register to be excessive; it’s not even about one square meter. Regarding the fence, I also do not really see a problem. We will certainly find a good solution.
Last year it looked like this:

It is exactly about the garage. However, the overhang is not along the entire length, but at the front side it has the mentioned 12 cm and at the back it goes down to 5 cm. So the neighbor’s garage is slightly skewed.
Should there also be a garage from your side? Or will the wall just be neatly plastered?
Overall, I would see it the same way, that you just let it be. It can't be changed anyway. And a good neighborly relationship is more important than getting three euros fifty every year.

No, at this spot we only have a pit for a stack parking system for a total of three vehicles. Apart from the parking space on top, everything takes place underground. Therefore, the wall will, as you already said, simply be neatly plastered and that’s it. The idea was to create a small base with a fence in the front area.
Would you like to link the thread that leads to the picture? Unfortunately, it doesn't lead me to the topic ...
If I remember correctly, I posted the picture back then in the house pictures topic. I can try to post another picture with details here in the next few days.
