Multi-division house introduction - installation costs

we are currently dealing with additional construction costs. We are building a single-family house without a basement in Lower Saxony with a general contractor. In the list provided to us by the construction company, the material costs for the MSH were about €1,250. Now the contractor has offered us the MSH including installation for €2,250. Our research has shown that an MSH is available for under €1,000. Who can explain the installation to us? The site manager could not explain it to me in a comprehensible way. Are the costs reasonable? If not, where can we get a counteroffer? The supplier only specifies the MSH but does not install it. Can the MSH also be installed after the slab has settled? But that is probably not advisable, right?

We paid 740 euros for MSH. No basement. Installation was included.

ours was offered for 1100 € net including installation.

However, it probably also depends on the length of the included pipes, for us that is only 3m. If, for example, 20m are necessary (no idea why that could be) then such large differences would be explainable.

With us also 1100 including installation

MSH itself procures 899EUR for 6m. GU then charged 500EUR for installation. The shell builder did it.

Install MSH into the floor slab!

The construction company will not research on the internet, but will obtain it from the local building material dealer or its usual supplier and then add its risk and profit.

No.

If not, where can we get a counteroffer?

Nowhere. The task usually falls to the shell builder and no one will be allowed to interfere with the trade. No one will have much interest in such a minor job.

Can the MSH also be installed after the slab has settled?

No.
