Why is it absolutely necessary to use your own electricity in the house? Are there special subsidies for that? Whether I get a lower bill from the energy company or a higher bill and in return a credit for feeding in, I wouldn't care at all. I don't know the current prices, but in the past, feeding in was paid more than the cost of electricity. So why invest additionally in expensive batteries? If you don't only consider the financial aspect, but want to generate your personal electricity from renewable energies yourself from an ecological perspective, then you should consider that you don't only consume electricity at home. At work, I also need electricity (light/computer/air conditioning/machines, etc.). The products I buy, use, and recycle also have to be manufactured, transported, and stored. Electricity is needed for that too. Consequently, I would have to generate much more electricity than I consume at home.

This has changed within the last year.
The feed-in tariff is currently decreasing each month for "new suppliers" by a certain percentage (according to the internet currently about 1.8% per month).
Meanwhile, the electricity price has continued to rise.

The feed-in tariff is contractually fixed for the delivery of electricity for 20 years. To my knowledge, the 20-year term begins with the first feed-in (or with the beginning of the year following the first feed-in).
Because of this regulation, holders of old contracts (e.g. from 2010) have a guaranteed feed-in price that is significantly above the current electricity price.
Someone who connects their system to the grid in September currently has to be satisfied with 14.54 cents/kWh (for rooftop systems < 10 kWp) for the next 20 years. You know the current electricity price you pay.
Therefore, saving purchased electricity (which is more expensive) compared to feeding in has become significantly more attractive.

Hello HilfeHilfe,

if I read it correctly, the €100 reserves are included in the €350.
Then the amount seems too low to me.

Based on the list posted by PhoenixDH + maintenance costs for heating and ventilation, I calculated myself and came to €550. Reserves are also included here with €100.
I omitted Sky (we don't have it), included telephone/internet/TV (same amount) instead of chimney sweep and gas, and added an additional item for electricity for geothermal energy with €80 (flat assumption).
Otherwise, I referred to my current costs (e.g. electricity/telephone) or the flat rate given by PhoenixDH (waste, water, property tax, etc.).

If I consider everything this way, my additional costs will increase by about €180.

here is our comparison list. 170 sqm living space still 2-person household. 1 pellet heating system supplies 4 single-family houses (2x2 semi-detached houses) flat roof. underfloor heating electricity 70 euros sky 30 euros telephone internet 15 euros (further 20 euros are paid by the company) property tax 50 euros (600 per year) water / heating 70 euros garbage 20 euros reserves 100 euros building insurance / household insurance 40 euros glass insurance 12 euros (large panoramic window that wraps around the corner) so a little more than 400 euros... we might round up so that we reach 500 euros monthly the thing with the photovoltaic system really needs to be reconsidered whether we should just skip it... especially since the orientation of the carport is not really practical.
