You are wrong there, Thorsten. It wouldn’t be the device of choice because the TM simply doesn’t have enough power or isn’t designed for that. So not a cannon, but in this case a needle :)
I think I see it correctly, similar to you, just from a different perspective.
So – I don’t mix smoothies either, I don’t like the taste. I drink traditional orange juice, apple juice, carrot juice, and tomato juice.
No smoothie has convinced me so far.
We’re dealing here with an area where it’s about grinding the smallest components so finely that they’re no longer noticeable in a smoothie. I believe the TM isn’t quite the right device for that. There are high-performance blenders specifically made for such purposes and only those.
The TM could probably do a decent job – it really has enough power – about 80-90% good, but here 100% is required.
With the TM, too much residue would remain unground, stuck to the wall – that’s the problem, definitely not the lack of power. If you have ever experienced that with a TM: it was defective. Honestly. It even chops firewood, it makes everything small. But the shape of the bowl is not suitable for this specific purpose.
Besides, the TM can do much more (and does so very well), which the OP doesn’t need. That’s why I said “cannon to kill a sparrow” in my post. In this case, I myself advised against it.
If I need a blender, and not a universal kitchen machine: buy a blender. The good ones aren’t cheap anyway………
I’m never upset about other opinions like yours now. Why should I? Life is about exchanging opinions, that’s great.
Best regards Thorsten
