When it comes to sound transmission, careful workmanship is even more important here than the material. The solution to the puzzle is not to simply attach the wall everywhere. I have seen both wood and metal very well sound decoupled. Also in a good hi-fi studio (I was once in this industry myself). Whether wood or metal – use what you prefer to work with if you do it yourself. If you have it done – choose a company with acoustic construction expertise.

Sitting here at a drywall partition for the children's room. The setup is: 100 profile, double-planked on both sides with 12.5, and insulated with mineral wool. Although not everything went perfectly here (e.g., the sockets on both sides of the wall are exactly opposite each other), I do not perceive any acoustic difference compared to the 115 mm sand-lime interior walls.
