I am more of a fan of wood, but I am also completely against underfloor heating.

If I had underfloor heating, I would probably choose stylish tiles with a wood look for the living room. Recently, I had to touch in a show house to check if it was wood or tile... :)

Ok, that really sounds interesting, are these then seamless? Wood would definitely be out of the question, precisely because of the kitchen and the underfloor heating

I don't understand why that is excluded? Parquet glued directly onto the screed allows enough heat to pass through. You can easily use underfloor heating with that. The same goes for cork. Cork and parquet can be sealed and are therefore also suitable for use in wet rooms.

Hello Wastl,

wood is not an option for me, as I currently have it in my present apartment and in my opinion it is too sensitive. I find the idea of tiles really interesting and will look into it more closely. Does anyone know if these are grout-free, or do tiles always need grout in between?

Regards

So according to your requirements, I would recommend vinyl parquet to you. It is also available in a wood look. In addition, it is very easy to install, click system like laminate, and perfect for underfloor heating. The floor is also insensitive. We have now almost consistently decided on it in our new build...
