So, Axel has wrecked our pavilion that we used as a temporary terrace roof.
We were already surprised that the Lidl piece lasted that long, but it was no match for the Beaufort 7-8.

Since we have various parts there that still need to be protected from the weather underneath, and my wife also likes to sit there sheltered from the weather, I urgently need a replacement.

I don't want the proper roofing yet, so I'm looking for something very cheap (<1000, preferably <500), but still stable in itself and can be firmly screwed into the ground with metal brackets or the like. It is important to me that it can stand on its own (so a minimum of four posts) since I don't want to attach a temporary solution to the house wall.

Dimensions around 3x3 or 4x2.5. Material actually doesn't matter, but wood is preferred since it can be used for something else later. Roofing material doesn't matter for now.

Should be suitable for self-assembly.

Does the forum community here have experience and can recommend something?

Or just go to the Abbundwerk and get advice there?

You might be able to customize a DIY carport from [Baumarkt]. Or completely DIY. You can manage that for under 1000 euros. Roof either trapezoidal sheet metal or double-wall sheets.

Carport will probably be difficult, as you usually only get them from 5m length. Accordingly, I would advocate for self-construction.

5m is also ok, dimensions are rather minimum dimensions.

Are there corresponding offers for ready-made construction plans with pre-calculated static analysis?

From 5x3m you should be able to get a carport from the hardware store cheaply and without much calculation. Otherwise, the question is… do you even need structural engineering? My father once built a batch of wood shelters himself, simply with generously dimensioned beams.
