What a pity! Then try to make the best of it as it is. Another idea from me following the motto "The living room is not just a TV room." If you really want, you can also place a reclining chair or a Fatboy bean bag, for example, directly opposite the TV. This way you solve the space problem with the terrace doors. Good luck with furnishing the house!

By the way, you have a really spacious hallway! You can make a nice entrance area out of it.

It is not helpful for the OP to come up with ideas that do not work because the drawn-in furniture does not correspond to the scale of the floor plan.

The room is difficult to furnish. It doesn't bother me too much personally if a sofa is placed at a distance in front of a floor-to-ceiling window. If you want to avoid that, the sofa could also be placed to the right with some distance from the wall and the TV to the lower left. However, I would not take a giant sofa and would rather add one or two armchairs, which are more flexible. There might still be space behind the sofa for a bookshelf, if desired/necessary, which doesn’t require much depth. I roughly sketched what I mean. With the size, you need to make sure you can still pass by comfortably. Maybe you can also place the sofa slightly diagonally (in the opposite direction from how it is angled in the sketch) or choose a rounded model... This would also ease the situation around the dining table a bit.

Of course, there is a good solution for that. But first, it is important to understand how important television is, what screen size it should be, whether it is only watched when it is dark or also during the day, what shape the sofa should have, and how many people hang out in front of the TV at the same time...

For 2 people, design-oriented and occasional watchers, the arrangement (blue) below would be perfect: Cassina Maralungo 2-seater sofa, Samsung Serif TV, drawn-in proportions are correct. It is similarly placed for us on a gallery and works wonderfully.

If TV plays a big role in your life, then consider a projection solution with a motorized screen - this can then be lowered in front of one of the windows when in use.

No, honestly: actually not if TV does not have a special priority.
