[I have to take some time for that, which I don’t have right now..] Then I’ll just give a helpful link to the house pictures thread: (and 218904)

I'll cheekily use this thread for my little interim question. With which program could I plan a 40m long wooden fence? Does anyone have a tip?

If you want to plan the board layout etc. ... I would use Coreldraw for something like that. It even has a dimensioning function. I always use it here for the floor plan adjustments, where I just move things back and forth in an existing floor plan.

Unfortunately, I don't have Corel yet. Isn't it comparable to Photoshop? Or more like Illustrator?

No idea .. it is a vector-based program. I have known Corel for almost 30 years or so. My last version is version 11 from 2002 .. at some point around 2008 or so I bought an original version from someone on Ebay for 15 euros.
