Hello,
so I'll take a look at the catalog. Thank you very much!
We don't find cable systems very appealing. We definitely won't lower the ceiling. Otherwise, we would have planned it before completion.

But crazy, the prices they charge sometimes! 1000 euros is almost normal for 3 wires and a bit of glass around it. They're nuts, aren't they? And then all those LEDs everywhere - I don't like them at all!

These LEDs, LED ceiling spots, or LED lamps are quite bright, cast few shadows, and are economical in consumption. Since I am severely visually impaired (nearly blind), I need very good lighting and have searched for a long time for some issues.
We now have LED lighting in all living rooms, partly also warm-white LED "bulbs" in regular lamp sockets and lampshades, which correspond to 150W.
However, it took me a while and very good advice, partly also at our home, before I was able to overcome my LED antipathy.

Yes, I also have problems with my eyes. I have poor vision in the dark (nachtblind). Is it still comfortable with the LEDs?

Hi! I have now replaced almost all the light bulbs and halogen spots in our house with corresponding LED lamps. Especially with the LEDs that replaced the halogen bulbs, you can no longer see a color difference compared to the halogen lamps. The days when LEDs necessarily emitted a cold white light are long gone. They are now even available dimmable.

Best regards,

Andreas

It is difficult to advise on something here if you have no clue at all what is liked and how the furnishing looks. Everything should harmonize overall.

I actually know quite a few online shops that offer more design and quality than cheap junk, namely discontinued models. I have been looking myself for 2 years for wall lamps with movable arms as reading lamps in the bedroom. If you send me your email address, I will send you my list, which I regularly work through. However, you should actually describe your living style :)
