As mentioned, an electrical solution is not an option for technical reasons; neither the wiring nor the protection of the outdoor connections are adequately dimensioned.

Thanks to mycraft for the pictures, I have also researched online and read that the perceived heating power of devices with visible flames is not very good and is more for the appearance.
It would be helpful if someone who has a good heater could share this information.
Feel free to send a private message, this avoids unwanted discussions about the environmental aspect.

Best regards & thanks.

They do produce good heat. However, due to the missing reflector on top, they are subjectively "not as warm."

These gas patio heaters are not desired and are therefore already banned for gastronomy. They emit as much CO2 as a small car - just to sit warm. You may not want to have this discussion, but maybe others will take a look at what it means to burn heating power on the terrace that would easily be enough for the whole house.
There are better alternatives.

Need 1500 watts of electricity and plug into a regular outlet. Produce more heat than gas.

Thanks to Bortel for a concrete recommendation.

We would not manage with a single device that has a power of 1.5 kW, and therefore the electricity solution is not an alternative.

By the way, I find it extremely surprising that the main criticism comes from two people, one of whom uses every possible means to demonize heat pumps, the other burns wood in the wood-burning stove to heat the house (this is not a criticism of fireplaces, on the contrary, I think fireplaces are great and would have liked to have one myself, but unfortunately, it didn’t fit spatially in our house).

Wishing everyone a pleasant evening and hoping that upcoming discussions will be less conflict-ridden.

Best regards
Dennis
