Why? Because then you will miss the garden? You have more than enough of that :)

I would move the garage as far as possible towards the bottom of the plan, i.e. south, so that you get an adequate courtyard as well as a nice seating area at the house. The compost can then go behind the garage so it won't be seen.

The compost is planned at the bottom right corner. We also want to lay out our vegetable beds in the same corner. We don't want a large seating area in the courtyard; we prefer to sit on a quiet terrace in the south. In our opinion, the courtyard is already large enough due to the garage being set back.

I wouldn't come up with anything technical for that, but rather use a simple slide, like the one used long before your time to get coal deliveries into the cellar. That works just as well with wood, only with less dirt than back then.

That's how we still have it at my parents' house.
That's exactly why I want to avoid bending the stacks of wood multiple times.

Wood out of the forest -> splitting and sawing -> directly into the grid box for drying -> dried wood in no time into the cellar
Therefore, only have to nicely put it into the boxes once
