Can you quickly explain to me why? I am now also considering getting one myself... Thanks!

Venta explains that quite well itself. It is the principle of cold evaporation.

We now have a Venta LW45 at home. Currently, the device is set to level 2 in the shower bathroom and runs 24/7.

The exhaust air is drawn off, so the moisture is transferred into the system via the enthalpy exchanger. This way, we currently have a constant 55% humidity. We have a good 190m² to supply.

It remains to be seen how this will develop when it gets really cold outside. Although we still have reserve on level 3, the device then becomes uncomfortably loud, and the air in the bathroom becomes quite humid with the door closed.

That is an idea as well. I have to try that out right away. In our living room, it is set to level 1.

Can you possibly report how the humidity has developed for you at colder temperatures? Because we currently only have about 30% and that is too low for me...

It is now colder, 1-3 degrees during the day, last night it was -5°. We currently have 52% humidity.
