Living room 5m seating distance to television

Hello,

we are currently building a semi-detached house 6m wide. In a classic room layout, the sofa would be on one wall and the TV sideboard on the opposite wall, resulting in a seating distance of about 5m, please see the picture below!

How have you optimally placed your sofa and TV bench with such distances, or should I plan for a 65 inch monster TV?

Don't worry. We now have 5 meters and had 5.50 meters in our old house with a 32''. And we watch often

P.s. You should draw the couch to scale, or is it only 65cm deep? On second thought, this applies to all the furniture... and suddenly it could become very tight

32 inch wow.. we now have a 46 inch at a seating distance of 2.5m and it just fits.
Do you also have such an arrangement at 5m distance: sofa on wall A, TV on wall B?
Ps: The furniture is not yet to scale, do you have standard sizes for this?

5m distance is recommended purely based on resolution with >65". Applies to FullHD, in 4k ... screen. That much for theory. In practice: How important is that to you?

We have 55 inches and just under 3 meters. With Full HD or higher input, I would go big (70+ or projector).
