I actually just googled that and I'm glad that my eyes are probably still "adjusted" so that a "small" TV is not a problem for me: at least I don't have to move my head when tracking something from left to right on the screen :P

Hello, so we have 55 inches at about 5 meters distance. The advantage is, I hardly see any difference between SD and HD... not to mention UHD. Therefore, the TV doesn't have to be ultra expensive. *g* But that is actually a matter of taste. For a special movie or TV experience, we had a projector on top of that. [emoji16] 120 inches at 5 meters is almost like a cinema. [emoji41]

The recommendations for seat distance with 4K content are really funny. This clearly shows the usefulness of this technology. In my opinion, zero added value for TVs. It might look different of course when you illuminate the whole wall with a projector.

no, but you can't compare the pixel mush of a tube to a high-resolution TV

However, a high-resolution TV only provides added value if you sit directly in front of it. Everything else is money wasted on consumption. [emoji39]

I would not describe 3m as directly in front. However, from 5m I still see a difference between 4K and Full HD. Just tested it with Netflix.
