Hello everyone,
I would like to put my floor plan and especially my lighting design up for discussion.
It is a semi-detached house with approximately 10x6m floor area.
At the top of the plan is west, sliding door faces south.
The sofa will be moved further towards the center near the sliding door at the top; this is not yet drawn in the plan.
The kitchen is not yet exactly planned. Next to it is the laundry chute.
For the general lighting in the living/dining room, I thought about approximately 6 concrete boxes 10x10cm with LED spotlights with a wide beam angle. Distance 1.6m and 1.36m to the wall and to each other, see picture. Over the dining table and possibly in the living room, 2 pendant lamps will be added. Later I want to install a narrow light cove at the top and left along the sliding door with spots and LED strips. In the kitchen as well.
The stairs will also get a wall spotlight and floor lighting.
Questions are:
-Are recessed ceiling lights suitable for background lighting?
-Is the distribution sensible?
The WC is very small at 1.05x140cm in favor of a cupboard width of 1m in the hallway. The door is narrow. Are the dimensions practical?
Many thanks for all suggestions and criticism
