Hello everyone,
I have been racking my brains for weeks.
We are building a wooden house and have wood fiber insulation and a vapor barrier on the ground floor under the roof terrace.
Below that, we have 6cm of counter battens and on top of that comes 1cm of Fermacell.
So, 7cm from the bottom edge of the Fermacell to the underside of the vapor barrier.
The vapor barrier is well tensioned, so that with some pressure you could get out a maximum of one cm... so 7-8cm maximum height.
We plan to install GU10 LED spotlights, but the height including the socket is roughly 7cm.
Which Kaiser box would I have to use so I don't set anything on fire in the ceiling?
There are two variants: ThermoX LED and ThermoX, with ThermoX LED stating "not suitable for NV and HV spotlights." Stupid question, but what's left then?
In any case, I would need your opinion and suggestions. How do I install the adjustable GU10 LED spots in the ceiling without setting the place on fire?
Regards
Tito
