Don't you find 2700K too yellow? Are LEDs with more lumens less yellow or does it make no difference?
Brightness has no effect on color. And color has nothing to do with brightness! The color does not change even when you dim the LEDs. We have LEDs throughout the whole house, but also halogen lamps. If halogen lamps don’t seem too yellow to you, then 2700K is fine. Again: The important thing is the "color rendering index".. I used the wrong word in the first post. If it is not high, the light appears unnatural, or the illuminated surfaces reflect an unnatural color.
LEDs with a high color rendering index are less bright at the same power. I'll put it this way: bright LEDs (> 350 lumens) with 2700K, a color rendering index > 90, and also dimmable are not exactly cheap and are not available at hardware stores.
