In any case, start in a non-critical area: wardrobe or [HAR] for example, if it doesn’t go well there, you can still get a professional for the important areas in the living room and so on if necessary. PS. on YouTube it looks 10 times easier than it actually is.

Laying tiles is not a big art, especially not on floors when they are even. For large dimensions, however, I would use a leveling system. Overall, you are faster with it and the result will be 100% better than with some tile setters!

Regarding the initial thread: The drying times are not that short, or you have enough time to work neatly. Such a tile adhesive remains elastic for longer than 15 minutes. However, the tip to work with small amounts at the beginning is already good.

Thanks for your contributions. Starting in the utility room is a good tip, I will keep that in mind. When it gets serious, I'm sure more questions will come up, then I'll post my questions here again. If anyone can recommend a good leveling system for about 85 sqm area, let me know.

Yes, so Brunoplast is great. I would personally rely more on the lid systems and less on the wedges.

Take a look at Karl Dahm. There you can also get everything else you need for it. Important, if you put on a bandage without a cross seam, I would never work without a leveling system because almost all tiles are concave. This is very pronounced with elongated formats (all non-square ones).
